Awards dinner on Thursday 26th September.
Tavistock launched its first Customer Service Excellence Awards in 2019.
Created by Rhiannon Spurgeon, in collaboration with Tavistock Business Improvement District, the awards intend to increase recognition of great customer service in the town. It gives businesses the opportunity to achieve a seal of approval and make their company the preferred customer choice in their category. It gives you, the public, a chance to reflect on the great customer service you get here in Tavistock that hands down beats anything you get from an online giant. .
The scheme proved very popular with over 900 nominations being received for the first event.
This summer, we are running the Awards for the second time, and we’re hoping to be deluged with great stories all over again.
Nominating is easy, and you can nominate as many businesses as you like. We very much encourage you to think back over the past 5 years and think about which businesses stepped up to make the lockdowns more bearable, which businesses made you feel supported through that weird “is it safe to come out yet” phase, and which businesses have been making you feel warm and fuzzy in the years since.
.Thank you for taking the time to nominate one of our amazing local businesses for the Customer Service Excellence Awards.
The more detail you put into your nomination, the more likely it is to be meaningful at judging time.
Examples:
"The people in this business were very knowledgeable, helped me to decide which of the options available would work best and then arranged quick delivery. Their excellent customer service saved me hours of looking on the internet and lots of stress! Cannot praise enough."
"We stayed at this B&B at the end of June and our hosts were really helpful with great recommendations of where to eat, which attractions would suit our accessibility needs and where to find unique gifts for a family birthday."
These are more meaningful than "because it's good service".
We ask for your details so that we can see whether a nomination is from a local or a visitor. Your data will never be sold on, and we'll only contact you if we want to verify something in the nomination, or maybe invite you to the ceremony.
