Children's Hospice South West - 'Jail & Bail' Charity Event

We are inviting you and other individuals who live and work in our local community to take part in this exciting, one-day fundraiser to help us make the most of short and precious lives. 'Prisoners' will be 'charged' by a Judge at Tavistock Guild Hall from where freedom can only be guaranteed if  the suggested minimum bail requirement of £999 is raised. They will proceed to the prisoner's holding area where they will have until 4pm to reach their Bail target! 

10:00 – 11:30: Court Session in Court room at Guild Hall: Charges read & sentencing by the Judge. 

12:00 – 16:00: Tavistock Guild Hall: Participants’ fundraising time period.

16:00 – 16:30: Refreshments and rewards (for those that have met their target!)

"Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) helps and supports children who are living with life-limiting conditions which  mean that sadly they will not reach adulthood. At Little Harbour, we provide a loving and caring place for every  member of the family, from the point of their child’s diagnosis, often for many years throughout their journey to  bereavement and beyond. These vital services are free to the families, and we rely on fundraising activities to  enable us to continue to make the most of short and precious lives to 148 children we are currently supporting."
