Tavistock Halloween Trail .
Tavistock Town Centre always puts on a pretty ghoulish adventure for spook hunters. Weave your way around town looking for eerie houses and their occupants. Find and identify all 16 and you will earn your ghastly goody bag. What’s more there are games to play along the way that could earn you a £10 Tavistock Gift Card to spend in town. The best bit… it’s FREE to take part!

The Garden House | Halloween & Pumpkin Trail
Pop those wellies on and get exploring the garden for pumpkins galore and all things spooky! Pick up a trail pack from Visitor Reception on arrival. Once you’ve completed the trail and found all those pumpkins – head to the cafe for tasty spooky treats, chocolate apples, pumpkin soup and mugs of marshmallow-topped hot chocolates!

Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centres | Mask Making
Come along to any of our visitor centres and take part in our self-guided mask making. Witches, Wisht Hounds and bats, choose one of the spooky mask templates to decorate and discover another side to Dartmoor's spooky story. Visit the craft tables at each of the visitor centres to take part in this self-guided activity.

Morwellham Quay | Scary Mine Train Ride
Board the Scary Mine Train ride for a ride through the George and Charlotte copper mine with some spooky surprises dwelling in the shadows. As part of the visit, you can also enjoy plenty of other Halloween themed activities including meet the witch, spooky chocolate, trick or treating, and creepy crafts.

Tamar Trails | Halloween Trail & Haunted Hollow
Follow spooky clues through the woods, spot haunting figures and scary sights as you go. Then explore the Haunted Hollow if you dare.… Afterwards enjoy frighteningly tasty treats in the Beech Café. Pick up your clues sheet from the Tamar Trails Centre, £2 per person includes a sweet treat at the end.
The main Halloween Trail is an adventurous trail through the haunted forest on rough and rocky tracks, not suitable for bikes or buggies. There is a shorter option for little legs and buggies, which is about 1km long and much flatter.

Lifton Farm Shop | Pumpkin Fest
Pumpkin Fest returns to Lifton Farm in 2022 with lots of family fun from pumpkin picking and carving to a mystical magic show from Magic Martin and a witch’s potion maize maze. There are thousands of pumpkins for you to choose from – with different colours, shapes and sizes. Around the pumpkin patch there are displays and spooky surprises with lots of pumpkin-tastic photo opportunities. Plus, you can get lost in the magic potion themed Maize Maze as you help Wilma the Witch complete her potion recipe.
