TAVISTOCK HALLOWEEN TRAIL .
Our annual spooktacular adventure is back.
The ghost of Lady Mary Howard rides a gruesome carriage of bones from Tavistock to Okehampton Castle and back every night in search of a blade of grass. This Halloween, we need to help her find the bones for her carriage so she can make her journey and then locate the blade of grass. Can you help to earn your ghastly reward? It’s free to take part so why the devil not?
Dates: 26th October to 2nd November (not Sunday 27th).
Location: Tavistock Town Centre – collect trail sheets from Guildhall Visitor Information Centre; Tavistock Library or Roots & Vines on West Street. You can also download it from the website. Estimated duration is 2 hours.

TAVISTOCK ZOMBIE CRAWL
Join us for the town’s very first Zombie Crawl.
Come dressed in anything spooktastic and take part in this playful parade with fellow zombies through the centre of town. Or simply come and watch!
Pop into town between 12 & 2pm for a series of circus workshops, gruesome facepainting and the essential lesson in how to walk like a zombie! Our experts will guide you in your transformation to the most convincing walking dead in town.
Remember, this is a family-friendly event, so keep the scares light and fun!

The Garden House | Pumpkin Trail
Pop those wellies on and get exploring the garden for pumpkins galore and all things spooky! Purchase a trail pack for £3.50 which will include fun activity sheets, a home-made autumnal biscuit and a colouring competition to win one of our book and with lots of autumnal themed goodies to entice your taste buds in The Garden House cafe.
Wander around our 10 acre gardens and have fun finding the pumpkins!

TAMAR TRAILS | HALLOWEEN TRAIL & HAUNTED HALLOW
Follow spooky clues through the woods, spot haunting figures and scary sights as you go. Then explore the Haunted Hollow if you dare.… Afterwards enjoy frighteningly tasty treats in the Beech Café.
The main Halloween Trail is an adventurous trail through the haunted forest on rough and rocky tracks, not suitable for bikes or buggies. There is a shorter option for little legs and buggies, which is about 1km long and much flatter.

STRAWBERRY FIELDS FARM SHOP | PUMPKIN FEST
It’s the biggest Pumpkin Fest yet at Strawberry Fields in Lifton. There are photo opportunities and displays, magic shows, toasting marshmallow pits, scarecrows galore, a barrel train ride around the pumpkin patch, mystery-themed maize maze and lots of delicious food and sweet treats once all the fun is done! This year, you can also hang out in the patch at night with the new ‘Pumpkin Nights’.
