Not every half-term adventure needs to be outdoors. Tavistock Library is a lovely place to pause for a quieter activity, particularly if the October weather takes a turn. Children can discover a new favourite book, enjoy some screen-free time or find inspiration for their next rainy-day project. For families staying locally, the library is also a useful stop between other activities in the town.
